Make a Slip Knot
Almost every piece of knitting starts with a slip knot. It is a loop that tightens when you pull one end. It also counts as your first stitch.
You'll need
- Yarn
- One knitting needle
Step by step
Tick each step as you go if you like; ticks stay on this device.
If something goes wrong
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| The knot won't slide or tighten. | You pulled the wrong strand through. Undo it and pull up the strand from the ball instead of the tail. |
