Logic Grids
Use the clues to match each child to their things. Print a fresh sheet with its answer key, or try one on screen.
How to play
- Read every clue. Put an ✗ where a clue says something is not true, and a ● where it must be true.
- Each row and each column in a block has exactly one ●. When you place a ●, cross out the rest of that row and column.
- Clues can link two things that aren't names, like "the child with the cat likes red." Carry that across the blocks.
What it exercises
Reading carefully and keeping track of what you know. It's the same skill as reasoning through a mystery story, one fact at a time.
Levels
- Easy Three children and two things to match.
- Medium Four children.
- Hard Four children, three things to match, and clues about ages.
