How to play
- Both sides of a balanced scale weigh the same.
- Start with a scale where you can swap something you know for something you don't.
- When you have an answer, check it on every scale.
What it exercises
The same thinking as solving equations in algebra, done with pictures. You swap equal things for each other until only one unknown is left.
