Steps

You’ll need: bowl and whisk.

  1. Whisk the flour, baking powder and salt together very well.
⚖️ ScalingPer cup: 1 cup minus 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour, 1½ teaspoons baking powder and ½ teaspoon salt (NDSU and University of Missouri; Colorado State uses 1¼ teaspoons baking powder and ¼ teaspoon salt).
🛡 SafetyDon’t taste raw dough or batter, and wash your hands and the counter after handling flour: raw flour can carry germs that only baking kills (FDA).
