Greek core word #33 · pronoun · 530 times in the New Testament
τις
teesτις, τι — someone, anyone; a certain
- Enclitic: same stem as τίς but no accent of its own; when the two-syllable forms take an accent, it falls on the last syllable (τινός, τινές).
- Masculine and feminine share forms; “someone, a certain (person), anything”. Distinguish from interrogative τίς by the accent.
Forms in bold occur in the New Testament; the others complete the pattern. A dash (—) marks a form that does not exist.
