Greek core word #331 · pronoun · 43 times in the New Testament
σεαυτοῦ
seh-ow-TOOσεαυτοῦ, σεαυτῆς — yourself
- Reflexive of σύ: no nominative, singular only; it refers back to “you” (ἀγαπήσεις τὸν πλησίον σου ὡς σεαυτόν).
- For the plural “yourselves” the NT uses ἑαυτῶν, ἑαυτοῖς, ἑαυτούς.
Forms in bold occur in the New Testament; the others complete the pattern. A dash (—) marks a form that does not exist.
