What's in the book

Lesson 143 is drill 168: the joined capitals A N P repeated, then "A N Palmer," the author's own name.

The lesson, step by step

  1. Warm up

Two or three minutes of your usual movement drills: compact ovals, then a line each of small o, m and l.

  2. Look at the model

Open the book page. Look at drill 168: "A N P" joined, five times on a line, then "A N Palmer" three times.

  3. A N P

Use uniform motion from beginning to end, and make about twenty-five to a minute.

    Three lines.

  4. A N Palmer

    Three lines of the name.

  5. Gentle check

Does the motion flow through each group without stops?

  6. Finish

Write the author's name, then your child's own name in the same way.
