  1. Review

    Ask for three pairs of correlative conjunctions.

  2. Read it

    The book says:

    Read the following description three or four times, then reproduce it from memory.

    Read "Iron" aloud together.

  3. Outline

    With the book closed, list the topics in order: what iron is like, where it is found, how it is prepared.

  4. Write

    Your child writes the description from the outline.

  5. Compare

    Open the book and compare.

  6. Use it today

    Find three things made of iron or steel at home.
