How to type things

Powers: x^2 or x². Roots: sqrt(x), √x, cbrt(x), nthroot(x, 5).
Multiplying: 2x, 3(x+1) and x y all multiply; * works too.
Constants: pi or π, e, i (√−1), inf (∞).
Functions: sin cos tan sec csc cot, asin acos atan, sinh cosh tanh, ln, log (base 10), log(x, b), exp, abs or |x|, floor, ceil, round, n!.
On the Graph screen: y = …, x = …, r = …θ… (polar), (x(t), y(t)) (parametric), any equation in x and y, inequalities, points, a = 3 for a slider, f(x) = … for a function, and {-1 < x < 2} at the end to show only part.
On the Calculate screen: use := to store: a := 5, f(x) := x^2. A longer name, like scores = {…}, can use =. ans is the last answer. Arrow up brings back what you typed before.
Calculus and algebra: d, int, limit, taylor, sum, product, solve, nsolve, roots, factor, expand, simplify, comdenom, tangent.
Matrices: [[1,2],[3,4]]; det, inv, transpose, rref, trace, eigenvalues, identity(3), dot, cross, norm.
Lists and statistics: {1,2,3}; mean, median, mode, stdev, variance, total, sort, seq, linreg, quadreg, expreg.
Numbers: gcd, lcm, mod, isprime, factor, nCr, nPr, hex, bin, oct, real, imag, conj, arg, approx, exact, propfrac, random, randint.
